Refreshing Aromatherapy Room Spray 

 

An aromatherapy room spray is a great way to freshen up your home and reduce stress. Choose your favorite essential oil combo or follow our recipe below:

 

Ingredients and supplies you will need:

  • 4oz Spray bottle 
  • Small funnel
  • Witch Hazel
  • Distilled Water 
  • Lemongrass Essential Oil
  • Cruz Hemp Eucalyptus Essential Oil 

Instructions:

Fill the 4oz spray ¾ of the way with distilled water.

Add 5 drops of Cruz Hemp Sweet Orange Oil

Add 5 drops of Cruz Hemp Frankincense Oil

Fill the remainder of the bottle with Which Hazel

Shake the bottle to blend before each use

 

Exfoliating Citrus Scrub Bars

These fresh citrus exfoliating shower or bath bars will gently soften and moisturize your skin giving you a lovely springtime glow. Lather your body with the refreshing and energizing scent of fresh citrus while removing dead skin cells. Making these bars small for one-time use works best as they are meant to dissolve in warm water. You can switch up the scent by using different essential oils and fresh herbs or flowers for some decorative flair.

 

Ingredients and supplies you will need:

  • Fine Sugar or Sea salt 
  • Coconut oil
  • Shea Butter
  • Beeswax Pellets
  • Cruz Hemp Sweet Orange Essential Oil
  • Citrus zest from an orange or lemon 
  • Silicone mold or ice tray

 

Instructions:

Fill a pot with 2 inches of water and place on low-medium heat.

Place a shallow glass or metal bowl on top to create a double boiler. 

Water shouldn’t be touching the bowl. Bring water to a simmer.

Add 1/3 cup coconut oil to the bowl when water is simmering.

Add 1 1/2 tablespoons Shea Butter to bowl.

Add 1/4 cup Beeswax Pellets to the bowl. 

Slowly whisk together until ingredients are fully melted.

Remove bowl from the double boiler with hot pads.

Whisk in 20 drops of Cruz Hemp Sweet orange oil.

Wait for the oil to cool slightly before adding dry the ingredients.

Add 1 cup of finely ground sugar or salt.

Pour a little in at a time to make sure it does not dissolve.

Quickly pour the liquid into molds before it cools. 

Add some citrus zest to the top of each bar.

Put shower bars in the fridge to cool for 30 minutes then pop out of the mold.

Package into a decorative bag or cellophane wrap.

 

No-bake Chocolate Peanut butter bars (Gluten-free and Vegan)

These are super yummy guilt-free treats that only take 15 minutes to make and will please your taste buds. Melt in your mouth gluten-free, and vegan, these bars are pure goodness. Indulge in these treats guilt-free. 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup natural peanut butter 
  • 1 cup oat flour or ground rolled oats 
  • (easy to make: Toss 1 heaping cup of oats into a food processor or coffee grinder) 
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or dairy-free chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

**You can substitute Oats for almond flour for a grain-free option

Instructions:

Line an 8 x 8-inch square pan with parchment paper.

On low heat use a small saucepan to melt down 1 cup of natural peanut butter and ¼ cup maple syrup until smooth (about 2 minutes)

Remove from heat.

Slowly and stir in your oat flour or ground rolled oats until evenly blended together. The mix will be thick.

Spread the base mix into the pan and press down to level it out.

Clean your saucepan and on low heat, melt together 1 cup of chocolate chips, and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil stirring frequently until liquified.

Remove from heat and pour chocolate evenly over the oat base. 

Tilt pan side to side for the chocolate to evenly spread.

Cool down in the refrigerator for 3 hours or until firm

Take out of the refrigerator and let bars sit for 10 minutes before cutting. (If bars are cold chocolate will crack when cutting)

Store in an airtight container in the fridge
