DIY Cloth Cleaning Wipes – Living Green
Making your own cleaning wipes is an eco-friendly approach to a clean home. Ingredients and supplies you will need:
- Cotton cloths, microfiber cloths or old cut up square t-shirts
- Wide Glass jar
- 99% isopropyl alcohol
- Castille Soap
- Distilled Water
- Cruz Hemp Orange Essential Oil
- Cruz Hemp Tea Tree Essential Oil
Instructions:
Pour 2 cups of distilled water in a bowl.
Add ½ cup of 99% isopropyl alcohol
Add 2 tablespoons Castille Soap.
Add 15 drops of Orange Essential
Add 15 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil
Whisk Solution.
Cut old cotton t-shirts into squares or use microfiber or other square reusable cloths.
Stack your cloth squares, roll them up and place them in the jar.
Pour the solution into the jar.
Put the lid on and shake until every cloth is saturated.
Store in a cool dark place.
After using a cleaning cloth rinse it out thoroughly and put in the wash.
Place cloth back in the jar when cleaned.
Refill with the cleaning solution when needed.
Place a lid on your jar and store in a cool, dark place.
